Sightseeing can be hard on your tootsies. Let go of your high-heel-shoe fetish if you have a day of walking or exploring planned, and wear lightweight, breathable shoes with good arch support. Carry a small bottle of foot spray and/or a small tube of foot cream or gel and fresh socks. Then, during a bathroom break in the middle of sightseeing, give yourself a five-minute foot treatment and change your socks. When your feet are invigorated and refreshed (read: cool), so is the rest of you.
